Insurance Company, the employer's insurance carrier; to review the findings and order of the commission denying any workmen's
compensation benefits to the employee for permanent partial disability. The employee, who was born March 18, 1932, injured his back on April 15, 1957, during the course of his employment by the
employer as a result of lifting a heavy metal flange. On September 11, 1958, the employee filed with the commission an application
for workmen's compensation benefits limited solely to a claim for permanent partial disability 'of the spine as a unit.' A
hearing before an examiner was held on such application. Thereafter, the examiner entered the following findings of fact and
